The Montreal Protocol (Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer) Act No. 10 of 2011 and its accompanying Regulations. No. 39 of 2015 restricts the import of all refrigerants in Saint Lucia to only registered importers who hold a vaild import licence. In order to obtain a licence, a person needs to be registered as an ODS and Non-ODS importer.
